Hello and welcome to my blog. I started using Linux about four years ago, Ubuntu initially, switched after a while to KUbuntu to try KDE and finally settling on Fedora. After switching to Linux, I tried to move away from all cloud services I was using (mainly Google and Microsoft) so I built my own Raspberry PI 4 home server with all the services I need. The whole project took me some time, about two years I think, and left me with satisfaction, a lot of Linux experience, peace of mind and comfort, finally having all my data at home, exactly the way I wanted.
Since then I always had a thought about writing a blog where I would explain the whole journey. Initially I was writing more to document all the things I did, but then it started to grow and have tutorials, guides and even a Rust sample of a GTK4 application: something I never thought I would write.
I hope this blog would become a curiosity for you. A useful place where you find new things, or old things that you already knew but maybe explained in such a way that would keep you reading. I love to write and I love thinking that maybe these articles will help somebody one day.
I will keep updating this about page as followers grow. You deserve to know about the writers you follow. Thank you for spending time on this blog. I hope you find it useful and a good place to learn about interesting things.
